Bilingual Agent Jobs
A bilingual agent job will usually be required to be fluent in a minimum of two foreign languages coupled with a very high level of customer service experience and a mature confident manner allowing them to deal with the general public.
Usually there will be an auto-dial system in place which will continuously direct calls to the next available bilingual agent's turret and this can therefore be quite a demanding and fast-paced job depending on the product and time of year.
As well as customer service experience, a bilingual agent may be required to have a background in a sales based environment.
A bilingual agent will almost always have targets and KPI's to work towards on a weekly, monthly or even annual basis in the same way as any other contact centre agent. These will normally include things like the number of calls taken, the time on a call and the level of customer service demonstrated to the customer.
Being a bilingual agent can be quite stressful due to the nature of the position, however this is where the agent's experience will come into play. You will be rated as a bilingual agent on how successfully and how quickly each call is dealt with.
