Architectural Technicians Jobs

Architectural Technicians are the practical executors of the Architects' conceptual designs.  They are specialists in the application of technology to Architecture and Construction and are the collators and organizers of this information for use during development of project design.

Technicians will undertake site surveying; the preparation of measured drawings; the preparation of presentation drawings for submission to client; detail design; preparation of working drawings, plans and documents to gain statutory approvals and to ensure construction is legally compliant.

Technicians cannot practice individually however can join TCIAT (governing body) and undertake structured "Continuing Professional Development" which could possibly progress towards Chartered Membership of CIAT (MCIAT)  and a career as a Chartered Architectural Technologist.
