Tax Senior
The job of a Tax Senior is to manage the tax compliance of personal and corporate clients. Reporting to the Tax Manager, a Tax Senior’s portfolio of clients may consist of self employed or high net worth individuals, partnerships, large companies, offshore companies or directors. A Tax Senior will be responsible for preparation and submission of tax returns of their clients and may include Capital Gains Tax, PAYE and Trusts.
A Tax Senior may be responsible for offering both a compliance and advisory service and should have a good working relationship with their clients and hold information pertaining to the client’s business and tax matters. They should be able to identify any tax anomalies and bring these to the attention of their supervisor or manager.
Job Requirements
Tax Seniors should have:
• at least two years experience in a Tax Assistant’s role and preferably have gained some supervisory experience
• good problem-solving skills
• above average written and verbal communication skills
Job Qualifications
A Tax Senior should possess or be studying towards a professional qualification such as ATT, ACA or CTA.
