Content
Put yourself in the mind of the reader and ask what will make them excited. Never use I, me, we, our etc...As well as checking spelling and grammar, make sure your employment dates match up and that you provide correct phone numbers and email addresses.
Tailor your cv
Change your cv and cover letter for each application, using the job description for the position you are applying for key words to include.
One last check
